Homemade Room Freshener

I recently attempted some homemade room freshener...

Isn't my sad dog spoon rest awesome? Thanks, eBay. Yes, the bottom reads "I hate housework". I like to believe the tear falling from the dog's eye is actually a tattoo. He totally killed a member of a fellow dog gang and earned that teardrop.

The kitchen smelled a little icky a few weeks ago and I scoped Pinterest for an easy room freshener. I used this tutorial: morganmoore.typepad.com, but I might try this one soon in our mini crock pot.

I think on my first attempt I used a bit too much vanilla. But it smelled AMAZING!

Sneak Peak

This past weekend (May 26th) I sold my prints at the Chesterton European Market for the first time. The event planners for the Market said they had a record turnout for the holiday weekend. It was a hot day, but the breeze was nice and the rain stayed away, so no complaints from me!

I'll post more pics of the booth after it was set up, but for now here's a pic of my adorable business card display. A simple old square picture frame with the glass removed and a square of fake grass from Michael's for $4.99 and tada... a unique business card display!

What a change

Just a few months ago we lived in a big ol' city, with buildings and cars as far as the eye could see.

Now this view from the car window is a common occurrence...

I've decided I love the views both equally :)
